Thought provoking. Very good posting. I'm not so pessimistic. There are examples of programs that went down the tubes for 20 years (Texas: post Daryll Royal days) and have come back. Even if CW doesn't work out, I do not feel the permanancy mentioned.
What you have stated which is so critical is that this does'nt all center on Charlie. There should be a parallel strategy. The rot in this program has been from above. The program has been let go. Poor head coach choices and weak oversight in monitoring results are the root cause. A question that needs to be explored is whether Swarbrick is capable of restoring that kind of leadership which has failed us. It is early but as you say, the barbarians are at the gate.
